New issue 1979 by smichr: atoms can use sets internally
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1979
Since atoms returns a set is there any reason not to have sets rather than
lists being used internally so the list is not growing with duplicate
symbols and so no conversion is necessary?
If not, this commit [to be announced momentarily] makes this change. Tests
show that for a small number of terms (like ((a+b+c+d)**4).expand()) the
list are 7% faster; as the number of terms is raise from 4 to 13, the set
becomes 25% faster.
