So first off, this is a duplicate of issue 1916, so the discussion should
be moved there.
Second, what operating system are you using (answer on the other issue)?
I'm guessing it's Windows. Basically, from what I've seen, plotting only
works on Linux; bugs prevent it from working on Windows or Mac OS X.
