Well, the reason that I pushed it in so soon was that I had 10 minutes free and I knew that I could review and push this simple patch in that time. If I had decided to wait, it probably would have been some time until I would have gotten around to it again.
But either way, the patch was trivial, and clearly fine. If you want to add more stuff, feel free to reopen the issue and submit more patches.
