This patch is not addressing the pprint issue. pprint'ing without this patch in master gives the Point'less representation, so please just ignore that for review purposes and open a new issue if it bothers you. (I don't mind the current behavior of pprint.)
Since the issue that this does address has passed review, perhaps this can be pushed?
