+1 for allowing Integer(2)*'1' == '11'.
Maybe someone thought this should be sympified instead (returning
Integer(2))?
Please feel free to propose changes to the core, there are many parts which
can be improved considerably. The problem is, that it often breaks a lot of
tests.
Don't worry to break tests in the process if you think the new behavior
makes more sense (well, they have to be fixed or removed of course).
