OK, making that change gives
h[1] >>> cse([a+c, a+b+c])
([(x0, a + c)], [x0, b + x0])
But we're not going to check all permutations, right? So the following does
not recognize that a + c is repeated:
h[2] >>> cse([a + c + e, a + c + b])
([], [a + c + e, a + b + c])
(I repushed the branch.)
