New issue 2280 by [email protected]: Expr returns itself when evaluated
to a NaN

In lines 174 - 186 in sympy/core/expr.py we see that expr returns itself
when evaluated to a NaN. Is there any specific reason for this behaviour?
This needs to be fixed because its the root cause of issue 1100
