oes (x**p)**1/q always denest into x**(p/q)?
No, e.g.: In [3]: print sqrt(x**3) (x**3)**(1/2)
How about creating a "root" function (...)
That's a good idea on its own, but I'm not sure if it will be very pleasant to see it in printing.
