As to those short cuts, there is no conflict between gcd() and Integer.gcd(), e.g.:
In [9]: gcd(Integer(2), Integer(4)) Out[9]: 2 In [10]: Integer(2).gcd(Integer(4)) Out[10]: 2 because gcd() uses .gcd() when non-polynomial arguments are given. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy-issues" group.
