By the way, can the chain rule be generalized to the nth order?

I was thinking about this. I never saw anything like that, but then wikipedia comes to the rescue:

It's surely much more complicated then the rule for products, but it's implementable. Perhaps Saptarshi's work on combinatorics will fit right in here.
