Mateusz or Ondrej, if you want to try this, go for it.
In case you haven't heard, they are adding Python 2.7 support to the app
engine (and also numpy support). You can sign up for the trusted tester
program at

We may be able to get in. Based on the second to last question, it looks
like they give precedence to developers of Python frameworks (that's us).
