What is the actual issue here? Obviously we cannot sort anything in the
complex plane, if we only want the ordering to be cannonical it's easy
enough to use the hash or repr or whatever as a key. Is there something
else to take care of or should this just be closed?
In any case, since there wasn't any activity on this for about two years,
I'm going to remove the Milestone.
