The original issue was fixed, as part of GCI, SymPyDeprecationWarnings were created and are shown by default in iSymPy. It would be good though to also display these warnings by default when you run bin/test or bin/doctest (respectively, test() and doctest()). The author of the patches says it's not trivial, though. So lets keep this open for now.
