If check is False then are you advocating to do limit testing? So for each solution the + and - limit would be checked to see that the solution is not zero? Or can we do something with the O() to know when this is needed. I don't think it should be a WontFix. We just need a good method of doing it and (as you suggest) perhaps a new flag. I just think we need to talk it out here for a while.
