The hg repo is dead, and even if it wasn't, it would just be the same as what we have in git.
In the svn, which is at http://code.google.com/p/sympy/source/browse/, there is some really old history, which extends beyond the git history. The task here is to do a svn-to-git export of this data and put it up in a repo on GitHub. I think I tried svn2git or git-svn (or one of those) on it a while back, but there were errors and I couldn't complete it.
