This is perhaps related so a new issue was not opened:
(x-oo).subs(oo,1)
x - oo
To SymPy that appears as `x + (-oo)` so I'm guessing the subs just doesn't
check for it like it does for symbols:
(x-b).subs(b,2)
x - 2
(x-b).subs(-b,2)
x + 2
