This bug is extremely old. My opinion is that a new approach should be taken to replace the functionality rather than patch it. Not because it's old, but because pyglet's windowing bindings and threading capabilities have never caught up to our needs. Or more accurately, my original intentions for cross-thread/process communication with UI threads still haven't panned out. Has anyone tried multiprocessing with wxPython lately?
