I seriously doubt this is an issue we can fix. If you don't have a good unicode font installed/activated in your terminal, or your terminal doesn't have good unicode support, pretty printing won't work well. The solution is to get a good terminal (I don't know which ones work well in Linux), and use a good unicode monospaced font (DejaVu Sans Mono is the best I've found). If you can't do that for some reason, use ascii pretty printing, which should work well everywhere.

Unless it's possible to tell from the pretty printer that this is happening, which I kind of doubt, I don't think there's anything that we can do to fix it.
