Isn't class hierarchy just implications, except limited in expression?

I'm not sure I fully understand the question. I'll say something in hopes that it answers it.

Yes, class hierarchy is just a bunch of implications "any relation that is valid for this class is also valid for this class." I don't think new assumptions allows for this kind of expression. This was one of the benefits of the old assumptions organizational style that we've lost.
