New issue 3614 by [email protected]: Named arguments
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=3614
We should have a way to name arguments of a class that inherits from
Basic. Our current solution looks something like the following
class PointXY(Basic):
def __new__(cls, x, y):
return Basic.__new__(cls, x, y)
@property
def x(self):
return self.args[0]
@property
def y(self):
return self.args[1]
This pattern is common enough and verbose enough to merit attention
