New issue 3645 by [email protected]: All solutions of x**y = 1
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=3645
solve(x**y - 1) does not return all solutions: it should return [{x: 1},
{y: 0}], but it stops looking for solutions after it found the first one.
Which solution it finds first also depends on which Symbol you use in the
equation:
from sympy import solve
from sympy.abc import n, x, y
solve(x**y - 1)
[{x: 1}]
solve(x**n - 1)
[{n: 0}]
