Don't know, but that's just what it does (the code at the top of solve is
rather twisted!). So as it turns out, solve([A*B - C]) does not work (but I
think it should, and it works in my branch). My fix also handle multiple
matrix equations, e.g. solve([A*B - C, A*C - D]).
