In risch.py there is a note
# TODO: DE.decrement_level() ... DE.increment_level() code blocks would
# be an excelent use of with statement context managers, I think.
# We would have to remove Python 2.4 support first.
Since 2.4 support has been dropped, perhaps this is a good Easy task.
