@Chris, there isn't any correct rule even for tan/cot. This is what I am
getting --
trigsimp(tanh(x) - 1/coth(x))
0
trigsimp(3*tan(x)**7 - 2/cot(x)**7)
3*tan(x)**7 - 2/cot(x)**7
