You just need to combine terms from the same denominators
The problem is that the terms that need to combine are from two different
terms
from first term: 2*p/(p**2 + 1) - 2/p
from second term: -(p - 1)/(2*(p**2 + 1)) + 1/(2*(p + 1))
combined by threaded: 2*p/(p**2 + 1) - (p - 1)/(2*(p**2 + 1)) + 1/(2*(p +
1)) - 2/p
xthreaded appears to have been written for cases such as this and I include
the change from threaded to xthreaded in
