this might be the way to go, then:

    n = int(abs(n))
    if isprime(n):
        rv = [1, n]
    elif n == 1:
        rv = [1]
    elif n == 0:
        rv = []
    else:
        rv = _divisors(n)
    if not generator:
        return sympify(sorted(rv))
    return (sympify(i) for i in rv)
