New issue 4097 by [email protected]: A relatively straightforward integral
like sqrt(x/(a-x)) (0 < x <=a ) fails
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=4097
a,x=Symbol('a x')
integrate(sqrt(x/(a-x)),x)
Result:
Integral(sqrt(x/(a-x))
Wolfram alpha is able to do this (GIF of result attached).
BTW, this integral appears when calculating the time for a particle to drop
from a distance a to center-of-force under inverse-square attraction.
