The following code does not return what is expected,
n = sympy.Symbol('n')
m = sympy.Symbol('m')
a = sympy.Max(0.0, n + m)
print a
print sympy.N(a)
outputs:
Max(0.0, m + n)
Max(1.0, m + n)
