Hi, I simplified how functions are done in SymPy. For usage details, see:
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/wiki/SymPySvn Most of the job is done. I generated a bunch of new issues, that I discovered, or just caused. Some functions are still waiting to be migrated, see the wiki above, but the most frequent ones are done. Could you please look at the trunk and polish it a little bit? By closing some of the new issues. Also it would be nice, if the rest of the functions were moved to the new system. Let's discuss how things are done, see the wiki for more information.
