Thanks for the suggestions. Some comments below: > > 1. CamStudio : http://camstudio.org/ CamStudio is windows only, isn't it? > 2. Wink : http://www.debugmode.com/wink/ I tried to install the linux binary: $ ./installer.sh This installer only has x86 binaries. Sorry. so I commented out the check, as maybe the 32bit stuff would work on my 64bit system, but: $ ./installer.sh Wink requires that the following packages be installed to run properly. Please install them and try again. libexpat.so.0 but I only have /usr/lib/libexpat.so.1 and I didn't found the -0 version in the Ubuntu archive. I didn't find any source download on their page, so I guess I am stuck. > > The adventage of Wink is that the text used to comment the flahs video > are easy to translate. Nice. My only requirement is that it works on linux, in particular my laptop with 64 ubuntu. I don't mind if it's closedsource. I know that there are nice (commercial) programs for Mac too, see e.g. here what Brian has created: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qdxzZaRta4 Only linux is in a sorry state for video stuff. But fortunately my script seems to work finally. Ondrej --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
