It's a problem with fractions (see Issue 1694). It should be fixed
soon. In the meantime, given an eq = Eq(...), try solving it as:
>>> from sympy import *
>>> var('a b c')
(a, b, c)
>>> eq = Eq(c, 1/log(a/b))
>>> solve((eq.lhs-eq.rhs).as_numer_denom()[0].expand(mul=1), a)
[b*exp(1/c)]
