I strongly agree with this point. I also agree with Ronan that the biggest disparity between SymPy and Mathematica is the lack of a nice GUI, especially for the adoption of new users who may not be so comfortable with the command line. Also, plotting basically doesn't work at all for me due to various bugs. I think it should be completely restructured to be independent of pyglet.
