Google has opened applications for organizations for the Google Summer
of Code 2011. The application period ends March 11.

I have edited the wiki page at
https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2011-Organization-Application
with this year's questions. The answers that are there right now are
based on last year's answers. Please feel free to go in and edit any
of it.

We also need to have two other things for the application. The first
is an ideas page. That is at
https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC2011Ideas. This is also
currently based on last year's page, but it needs to be cleaned up and
updated. Again, please feel free to go in and edit it in any way: add
ideas, clean up the page, add more information, etc. Also, there are
some things on that page that are no longer relevant and should be
removed or updated. From what I have seen, it is very important for
acceptance to have a good ideas page, so let's try to make it look
good. And if you have anything that you want implemented in SymPy,
this is your chance to suggest it for a student project over the
summer.

The second is an application template for students who plan to apply.
This is at https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2011-Application-Template,
and again is based on last year's template. Go ahead and edit that
too.

The organization application needs to be finished by March 11, at
which point I will copy the contents of the page to Google's
application form at http://www.google-melange.com/. The other two can
be edited beyond that point (though Google looks at them as part of
the application process, so they need to be finished by then).
