No, 1321 hasn't been fixed:

In [1]: sin(0.1)
Out[1]: sin(0.1)

The desired result is what N(sin(0.1)) currently returns:
0.0998334166468282.

Yes, all these ideas are effectively "Enhancement"-tagged issues (we
should actually open issues for them).
