Google will announce if we were accepted on March 16 at 19:00 UTC, and I will send an email to the list announcing the result at that time. You can, and I encourage you to, still edit https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/gsoc-2012-ideas and https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/gsoc-2012-application-template. Google will be looking at these when they review our application, so this is important. They likely will not start looking until Monday, so you can edit them this weekend. And anyway, if we are accepted, they can change up to the student application deadline. If anyone is able to mentor, please add your name to the bottom of https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/gsoc-2012-ideas. Google will be looking at how many mentors we have, so even if you are not sure, please put your name there. It is not binding. You can back out later if you want, and you will only mentor a project if you specifically want to. Finally, I should note that I was contacted by someone from Sage to add a bit to vouch for them, so I did this (see the last question).
