Well, thanks to the work of David Li, who was one of our GCI students, the SymPy Live Sphinx extension that Mateusz started at SciPy last year is now up and running again. So far, it's just in pull requests (https://github.com/sympy/sympy/pull/1465 and https://github.com/sympy/sympy-live/pull/59), but there is a live demo up at http://docs.sympy.org/live-demo/.
So I encourage everyone to go to http://docs.sympy.org/live-demo/, go to a doctest example, and click on "Run code in SymPy Live" next to it, and see the beginning of revolutionized documentation.
