Hi, There are a couple of ideas that were mentioned that deal more with infrastructure (testing, docs, presentation, bug tracking, etc) so a project along these is quite possible. Check out the wiki pages with suggested ideas for more details.
In any case, be aware that we request a patch from all applicants in order to ensure that they know enough about git and the rest of our infrastructure.
