Hi,
         I came across this
issue<https://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1173&q=circuit&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Milestone%20Reporter%20Summary%20Stars>
 posted
4 years ago which considers the possibility of adding an electrical circuit
solver to Sympy. I would like to have a module like
SPICE<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPICE> in
Sympy(being in Electrical Engineering, I may be biased!) which can perform
DC and AC Analysis, Transient Analysis and Frequency analysis on any input
circuit(in the form of a netlist
file<http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_5/chpt_7/8.html>)
containing various kinds of circuit elements including transistors, opamps
etc. and can plot those responses in time and frequency domain. I have not
used SPICE exhaustively, but I am sure there are many more features in it
than what I have listed here. I would like to know your views/suggestions
on whether I could have this project as my GSoC proposal.

Regards,
Ankit.
