Hmm .. I think it can be done but thinking it through and going through the 
code in quantum module will take some time. My final exams start in 2 days 
and will continue past 3rd May. Is it okay if I discuss those ideas here on 
the mailing list after 9th of May (which will be after the application 
deadline obviously) and still get them considered as part of my proposal? 
The final allotment will be on 27th of May so I suppose before this time, I 
can think more about this and solidify whatever ideas I get.

Fundamentally different? How? I thought that just the field over which the 
vector space is defined changes in this case. Obviously *C* is 
algebraically closed so that might mean something here but I am probably 
missing the point.
