Hi Pulkit, Regarding only 2] , I would advise you to solve bugs related to the ODE module in the issue tracker. This would familiarize you with the hints, dsolve, classify_ode functions and how things work. After that read the research paper, to see how the different methods can be applied to add as a separate hint.
Some of them, especially the Lie Group method to solve second order differential equations, requires a lot of time and patience to understand, especially if you have had no prior experience in these fields.
