Hi,
I am Zeel Shah from India. I am final year B.Tech CS student from DA-IICT. Basically I want to take part in this year’s GSOC consisting projects in python. I have experience of python more than one and half year. I have worked on Panda3d in python and I am currently working on my company’s project on python Abstract Syntax Tree. So I came across sympy and forked sympy’s repository in GitHub and also sent a Pull Request[1], which was later merged! After going through every ideas on idea page[2] and also interaction in this group I thought Project on Symbolic vector calculus and classical mechanics will be comfortable for me. I got brief description from post in this group from Jason Moore[3]. But as I am just going through current implementation and last GSOC’s work in vector mechanics field, Can respective mentor tell me what algorithms and vectorial integration/differentiation is to implement so that I try to acquaint myself to them before sending application.
