haha. I actually don't think of myself as developing on SymPy yet. I started _using_ sympy on monday (i.e. 5 days ago) and just tried to get the things working that I never managed to get right with Maxima. I think I filed Issue #7421 only a few hours after starting using sympy. Maybe I was just lucky to try differentiating matrix expression on my first day.. ;) Anyways: It was quite easy to find my way around in the SymPy source code and figure out why things went wrong in this test case. Awesome!
