Hi all, My name is YiDing Jiang. I am a second year undergrad student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a minor in Physics at University of California, Berkeley. I am very interested in the physics projects listed under project proposal, in particular, Classical Mechanics: Efficient Equation of Motion Generation with Python, Classical Mechanics: Generalize the equation of Motion Generation class and Implementation of multiple types of coordinate systems for vectors. I am currently taking courses in Analytical Mechanics where I study topics covering Hamiltonian and Lagrangian Mechanics, Kepler's Orbit and more. I also have considerable experience with python, so this is a really good opportunity to combine both my passions and apply them.
I was just wondering if my skill sets are adequate for the projects and how can I get a more in-depth understanding of my what I will be doing if I were selected. Lastly, I am open to any other proposals that suit my knowledge and skills. Thank you very much in advance.
