Hi, My name is Priyank Patel, I am a 2nd year undergrad majoring in Computer Science. I went through the ideas page for the GSOC, and was particularly interested in the ode module.
I have contributed to the sympy in the past, and currently I am working on the open issues related to ode module. As mentioned in the ideas page I went through the Symmetry method for solving the ode, and also methods such as Laplace Transform, as well as Hypergeometric equations to solve the ode, and trying to understand the way to implement in the Sympy. I would like to work with Sympy over the summer, and the task would be to make the ode module as robust as possible, and include various different method to solve the ode.
