Hello!

I am Abhigyan Khaund, sophomore in Computer Science Engineering at IIT
Mandi (India).
I have started contributing to Sympy since past one month and hope to do
more in the upcoming future. I am looking forward to get involved with
Sympy as a part of GSiC as well.

>From the list of ideas, Efficient Equation of Motion Generation with Python
seems interesting to me, and am willing to pursue more regarding it.
However, I have some queries regarding it. I have noticed that this idea
has been part of Sympy projects since 2016 or 2015 for GSoCs. However
despite having some proposals for this particular project, it has not been
accepted and hence not much work has been done. I was wondering what is the
reason behind this project not being accepted since past two years, was it
back of the quality of the proposals or because other projects seems to
outweigh the importance of this project. If later is the case, is there any
possibility of it getting accepted this year on a good proposal, or other
projects still outweight this one? I would like to know whether to start
work on this project for GSoC or see some other project. I have noticed
same is the case with Implement an O(N) Equation of Motions Method project
as well.
It will be really helpful to know about these.

Thanks!
