Hi,
I am Monish Prakasan currently pursuing BTech Computer Science in PES
University, Bangalore. I am in my first year right now and have been able
to familiarize myself with the basics of languages like python, c, c++ and
SQL.
My mathematics education includes High School Maths + One year of
Engineering mathematics which includes calculus, laplace transformations,
Beta-Gamma functions to name a few.
Particular Expertise : I can code moderately well in python and i’ve
been using python for more than a year now. Prior to this I have been
coding in c++ for almost 3 years and have a fairly good knowledge of the c
programming language as well.
Project Ideas : I had a look at the project ideas page and i figured i
could be of help with ordinary differential equations. I had a look at what
was asked and I am sure I can be of help in improving SymPy with my work in
this field.
Mathematics has always interested me and being given a chance to
integrate maths into python would mean a lot to me. Not just ordinary
differential equations, i will be able to implement a bit of higher order
differential equations shortcomings into sympy as well.
I am from Bangalore, India. I have good command over English and fairly
good command over other indian languages like Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
While this particular email may seem a little too vague, trust me, this
is only in a hurry to get into the mailing list and I am simulatenously
researching more and more on this topic regarding symPy.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Monish Prakasan
