Hi,

I am Gandhi, a sophomore at IIT Roorkee, India. I'm really interesting in
contributing to SymPy for this year's Google Summer of Code. I went through
this wiki page
<https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2019-Student-Instructions> and I
would like to get started right away with the development. Some relevant
information about me is as follows:

   - My main area of interest is in building deep neural networks and hence
I have a strong grip over the Python language, Probability Theory and
Statistics. I'm working on two research papers in Deep Learning to present
   at this years NIPS conference.
   - Other than Probability Theory, my experience with Tensorflow has given
me knowledge about Tensor Algebra. Apart from all this, I'm personally
highly motivated towards learning pure mathematics and physics. I've taken
Number Theory courses from MIT-OCW too.
   - Regarding my familiarity with SymPy, I've used Sympy for my coursework
in Geometric Algebra <https://github.com/brombo/galgebra> and for
cross-checking during my Deep Learning research (Cadabra
   <https://cadabra.science/>)
   - I've checked out the projects and I could short-list Probability
   <https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2019-Ideas#probability> and Linear
   Algebra: Tensor Core

<https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/GSoC-2019-Ideas#linear-algebra-tensor-core>
   .

I'd really like to hear back soon about my project choices and if I can
take up others which are better aligned to my skill-set. Thanks for your
time, really excited to learn new things and help make a difference.

Sincerely,
Gandhi
