Hello Snehal,

Happy to hear that you are passinate about mathematics and inteerested on
SymPy. Go through the Development workflow and contribution guide, also all
other related links and wiki pages in SymPy for more clarity. I encourage you
to start with fixing easy issues to hands on codebase and development.
As you can see Probability idea section already contains few good concepts to
implement in sympy.stats . You must go through the last year GSoC 2018
progress report , PRs and discussions . You will get clarity about the project
and stats module, also you may find new good ideas that should be part of the
project.

   - Francesco Bonazzi (@Upabjojr), Kalevi Suominen (@jksuom) can suggest you
priority issues about the project.

Keep committing :)

Dear Shekhar,                       My name is Snehal Raj and I am a sophomore
undergraduate at IIT Kanpur pursuing Computer Science and Engineering as my
major. The reason I am writing this mail to you is to inquire you regarding the
possible application tasks and ideas for the projects related to Probability
and Statistics under the SymPy organization.

I am a deep enthusiast of mathematics and computer
science and am extremely motivated in working under the SymPy foundation and
would really appreciate if you could take some time out of your busy schedule
and guide me about some project ideas that I can start exploring. It would also
be great if you could specify some tasks via which I could show my seriousness
and proficiency with the technologies involved. I have attached my Resume in
the mail and my GitHub url is as follows:https://github.com/SnehalRaj
