Hi SymPy team,

I am Aadit Kamat, a Computer Science student at the National University of
Singapore. I am currently doing a 6 month internship from May to October
and helping out with the NUS Orbital program (
https://orbital.comp.nus.edu.sg/) both as an Adviser and a Developer. As an
adviser, the teams that I am assigned to can inform me of their project
status and ask for suggestion as well as advice.
As a developer, I am helping to maintain the NUS Skylab website (
https://github.com/nusskylab/nusskylab). I came upon this project as I was
looking for Open Source projects to contribute on CodeTriage. To me this is
quite an interesting project, firstly because it is the first time time I
am using a Computer Algebra System (before this I have used Matlab and
Octave for Matrix manipulation as well as tried my hand at numpy for ML
applications) and that too one that is open source and secondly because it
is hosted as a library on a popular programming language such as Python. I
wish to collaborate on this project via GitHub to hone my developer skills
and gain more experience with handling medium to large size OSS projects.

Some personal details:
- Level of familiarity with Python: Intermediate
- Years of programming: 3 years for Python (learn it in 2017 and used it
since), 5 years since I learnt my first programming language (C++)
- Some Projects:
        1) PokerAI: Worked on a poker playing agent running on
Pypokerengine using the Deep Q-learning algorithms [Python] (
https://github.com/cs3243-project-group-18/poker-ai)
        2) PlanItRight: Worked on the front end portion of a web
application built with Node.js, HTML & CSS (hosted on Heroku) to provide
web itineraries to tourists [JavaScript] (
https://github.com/aaditkamat/orbital-web-app)
        3) CodeToExpress: Contributed code almost on a daily basis for the
2 month initiative to give students exposure to different levels of data
structures and algorithm scripting questions [Java/C++/Python/Ruby] (
https://github.com/aaditkamat/dailycodebase)
        4) DebtTracker: Developed upon existing desktop AddressBook
application to create a financial management application [Java] (
https://github.com/CS2103-AY1819S1-W12-2/main)
        5) ScoreKeeper: Single screen Android application developed as part
of the Udacity Android Basics course [Java] (
https://github.com/aaditkamat/ScoreKeeper)
- Mathematical education level: Undergraduate level. Took some math courses
such as Calculus, Linear Algebra as well as Probability and Statistics as
part of my Computer Science curriculum
- Algorithmic interests: Took Data Structures and Algorithms courses as
well as Analysis of Algorithms course as part of the curriculum. Do a bit
of HackerRank, Kattis, LeetCode, CodeForces etc. on the side in my spare
time (https://github.com/aaditkamat/online-judge-submissions)
- Geographical location: Singapore
- Native language: Hindi (2nd language)/Marathi(spoken at home)

My GitHub handle is https://github.com/aaditkamat and my LinkedIn profile
is at https://www.linkedin.com/in/aaditkamat

Looking forward to working with all of you!

Yours Sincerely,
Aadit Rahul Kamat
