Hello, I am Naoki Ishii, a first year student of the University of Tokyo. I am enthusiastic about participating in Google Summer of Code and contributing to SymPy. Especially, I am interested in the expansion of Sympy's solver functions. I have a year of experience in writing Python codes (and longer experience in writing in C#.) I have comprehension of calculus, algebra and linear algebra. I also have some insight into set theory and logic, and very limited knowledge of abstract algebra like group theory and category theory. To be perfectly honest, I have no previous experience in computer algebra. But I have interested in and dreamed of solving mathematical problems computationally for a long time. I am really looking forward to learning Sympy more and making nice contributions.
